Course Objectives

1.      Equip teachers with deeper knowledge and understanding of the essential nuggets of assessment at the pre-tertiary level.

2.      Familiarise teachers with the principles that govern effective assessment in the school settings.

3.      Enhance teachers’ practical skills on how to develop or construct assessment tasks/items to cover the appropriate DOK Levels.

4.      Motivate teachers and boost their confidence in taking online course.

5.      Build the teacher’s capacity and improve assessment practices in schools.
